Uni Abex Alloy Products Limited is an Indian manufacturing company specializing in centrifugal and static castings made from refractory metals and superalloys.[1] Established in 1972, the company is a part of the Neterwala Group, a diversified business conglomerate with interests in metallurgy, software, specialty chemicals, engineering, geology, oil & gas, and environmental solutions.
Uni Abex is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange[2][3][4][5] under the ticker symbol UNIABEXAL[6] and is recognized as a certified Two Star Export House by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under the Government of India.
History
[edit]Uni Abex was incorporated in 1972[7] and initially established its manufacturing operations in Thane, Maharashtra.[8] As the company expanded, the production facility was later relocated to Dharwad[9] in the southern state of Karnataka to enhance capacity and access regional industrial advantages.
Operations
[edit]The company manufactures centrifugal and static castings primarily used in high-temperature, high-wear, and corrosive industrial environments. Its product offerings cater to diverse sectors including petrochemicals, fertilizer, iron and steel and other heavy industries. The product offerings include:
- Catalyst reformer tubes for petrochemical plants and ammonia plants
- Steam reformer Tubes for downstream petrochemical industry
- Rollers for iron and steel industry
- Decanter centrifuge used in separation, and food and beverage Industry
