Image eligibility:
- Freely licensed:
- I highly doubt that the image is CC0 (which indicates that the copyright holder took active steps to release the image into the public domain, using a legal tool published in the 21st century). However, if the image was published before 1930, it should be in the public domain. Do you have information about when that image was first published? The file description page is not particularly clear about that. If not, we can use a different image or skip it entirely.

Overall: Earwig is spotless, but that is to be expected: This is a foreign-language-sourced article; I have verified that the ship exists as required by the reviewing instructions. HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 01:37, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
- @HouseBlaster: Thanks for the constructive review! I did actually find the original source of the photograph (where it is also stated that the photo was taken 1878 in Montevideo), it is here. It is a posting by the Maritime Museum in Stockholm, Sweden and clearly marked as public domain. I'm not the best at this kind of stuff, but I have tried to update the page on commons with the proper tags (I hope?) and also a link to the original post. Let me know if I did it right or if I should change something. Cheers, Yakikaki (talk) 09:06, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Yakikaki: Thank you so much! I made a couple of minor adjustments to the licensing tag, which reflect the copyright status on the website. Great work on this article;
