The rumours began after Vijay's Wikipedia page stated that he and his wife are getting divorced with mutual consent. However, this rumour is baseless as the Wikipedia page states nothing as such.
"No, Vijay and his wife are not heading for a divorce. Here's what we know". Onmanorama. 8 January 2023. Adding fuel to the fire, Vijay's Wikipedia page also stated that the actor got divorced in 2022.

Change: "He pursued a bachelor degree in visual communication from Loyola College." To: "He enrolled at Loyola College, Chennai, to pursue a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication but dropped out early to focus on his acting career."^[1]
