Etymology

I have added a section to the deWiki article re. the etymology of the toponym (see at Tottleben: Ortsname). Maybe someone would wish to translate it?

N.b.: in modern German, tot = dead and Leben = life, the two taken together creating a very confusing combination, which sounds even more ironic or macabre when used as the name of an army general. Arminden (talk) 14:55, 28 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
