deadair rerelease

the wikipedia article says the abridged version was released by deadair but the abridged version was originally self released until 2024 when it got rereleased by deadair Sastofficial (talk) 13:55, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, I forgot that they self-released it first.

'Their former name Dltzk'

This is worded as if Dltzk had been the person's official male birth name which had to be changed because the person came out as a trans woman. But this obviously isn't true. Dltzk is neither a male name nor the person's birth name. Also, why is the person called 'they' and not 'she' in the article if the person identifies as a transwoman? 62.73.72.3 (talk) 12:42, 20 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Dltzk was not their birth name, but Dltzk means "Delete Zeke", Zeke being their given name at birth. As they stated in a press release, "dltzk reminds me of a period of my life I’d like to move past, and I hope you all understand my reasoning as to why I’m dropping it. I’ve spent enough time facing bigotry in my life, from the closest people in my life to even my own fans. I know, for a fact, who I am and what I stand for. Just so everyone is in the loop now, and I don’t have to keep beating around the bush: my name is Jane, from now on I make music as Jane Remover, and that’s all there is to it. 'Royal Blue Walls' is a song about… yeah". "Royal Blue Walls", if you take a look at the lyrics for two seconds, is about transitioning genders.

When they changed their name to Jane Remover, they came out as a trans woman. (1 and [2)

They used to go by she/her pronouns, but now go by they/them pronouns as of April 2025. (3)

I get it can be confusing, which is why I have changed it to "It was self-released under their former name Dltzk on February 26, 2021, before they changed their stage name in 2022." for clarity Locust member (talk) 22:53, 20 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
