Wasn't the 1989 entry sung in romansh? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.210.16.30 (talk) 01:00, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it was, thank you for pointing that out. Grk1011 (talk) 13:46, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Something is wrong

[edit]

From session "Contestants": "Out of their 49 appearances in the Contest, Switzerland has sent 50 songs, 23 of which were in French, 12 in German, nine in Italian, five in English, and one in Romansh". From infobox: "Appearances 51". This is right. What language were the two others in? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.70.177.10 (talk) 07:39, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The section had not been updated following the last two contests; it is now up to date. Last year the song was sung in French and the year before, English. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 13:00, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Year Menu

[edit]

Last week, I’ve made Wikipedia pages of Switzerland in 1961, 1964, 1965, and 1967, but none of them are featured in the menu that lists all of the years Switzerland competed in Eurovision. Can someone change this please? I also plan on making pages for the rest of the years Switzerland held a national final in the 60s (with partial results, because I was unable to find reports on full ones for the remaining years). @Jusherman: Thank you for creating these articles! I have now added the links to the template. For future reference these need to be manually added to Template:Infobox song contest country/Switzerland, same for all other countries. Sims2aholic8 (talk) 15:29, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Commentators and spokespersons

[edit]

Hi @Bray0829: thanks for redoing the commentators and spokespersons section. It clearly was a lot of work! Since you're familiar with the refs, I was wondering if you could trim them down a bit to avoid duplication? 263 of the 276 refs in this article are in that table, and the commentators and spokespersons section is notable, but ultimately a relatively minor aspect of the participation. Some rows have numerous refs when one or two would likely suffice. This isn't information that needs multiple refs for a controversial subject or bold claim. Would you mind taking a look? Hello! These references were pasted from the contest articles. I could take a look at it, but it could take up more time on my end. Bray0829 (talk) 22:20, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
