There are more operational ice rinks in South Africa than what is stated in the article.
Two questions about the Nairobi's Solar Ice Rink:
1) Ice Hockey is cool and all, but why is Nairobi's ice-rink a Stub of Ice Hockey, eh?
2) If its a "Solar" ice rink, is it powered by the sun? The articles mention an $11,000 maintenance bill, and if they're buying power that makes sense. And for $700K to build - I'm guessing solar power couldn't be purchased for that. Zirconscot (talk) 16:05, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
