Channel Q show no longer in production

The latest version of Loveline hasn't released an episode or updated any of its social media content in over a year. I've tried to edit in the fact that the show is over into the article, but there doesn't appear to be any media coverage because there was no formal cancellation announcement.

Is there a Wikipedia standard for correcting things like the date range of the show when no such cite is available? Predestiprestidigitation (talk) 00:14, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Could be a challenge; I think you'd at least need a source stating that the show hasn't aired a new episode since X date. DonIago (talk) 18:13, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Potential to-do list

There's lots of info out there about Loveline that has thusfar been kept off this page by a possibly overly stringent interpretation of reliable sourcing. I'd like to see if there's a way to get acceptable sources for some of the following:

More info on Trenton's lawsuit over ownership of the Loveline concept and what the legal resolution was
More info on show staffers such as engineers and producers
Clarification of the qualifications of the post-2016 "doctors" - someone just removed "psychologist" from Chris Donaghue's info in the page. It's true that moving away from having a medical doctor as a host changed the character of the show, but this issue should be explained in more depth (and I think it's fair to call Donaghue a psychologist, given that he's a licensed practicing therapist and that's generally considered a kind of psychologist).
More info on the circumstances around Carolla's departure, acknowledging that there have been different stories told by different people at different times, and appropriately sourcing each rather than trying to referee the exact truth Predestiprestidigitation (talk) 18:52, 4 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
