Number of lines
[edit]This has been going back and forth for a while, so let’s get a consensus one way or t’other…
How many lines does the Clockwork Orange have?
The article current says 2 (Inner and Outer), which I believe to be correct - while most subway systems have multiple lines on which trains go back and forth, they advertise both directions as being one line. The Glasgow Subway is marketed as having Inner and Outer lines, despite taking the same route. Thoughts? Danners430 (talk) 16:30, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
- Two lines. It is marketed as Inner and Outer and of course which one you get is important, depending on where you are travelling from and to. The difference being that the Subway is properly circular (unlike most other systems) and so customers need to be directed to the correct one to reach their destination quicker. It's not similar to, say, the Circle Line on LU (I know that's not a proper circle, but bear with me) because on that line there are many other connecting lines by which travellers can "short-circuit" the loop to achieve their journey more quickly. The Subway is two circles and that's it. Black Kite (talk) 18:03, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
