Buggy citation

[edit]

There is a citation that is broken. Can someone fix it? Floating Orb (talk) 19:53, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Sure was. Sadly, I don't think you're going to find a preponderance of reliable sources to support the edit. PianoDan (talk) 19:23, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Badly written sentence

[edit]

In the population section, there is a sentence: "Out of the 16.0%, 4.0% (741,879) were West Indian or Afro-Caribbean American". This is egregiously bad composition, does the 4% mean 4% of the 16%, or 4% of the total referred to by the 16%? A more skilled writer would say something like "Out of the 16.0%, one quarter (741,879) were West Indian or Afro-Caribbean American", and avoid the ambiguity.

I'd change it, but the article is (not surprisingly) edit-locked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:589:300:C7C0:A473:F01C:3B31:48FF (talk) 22:38, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
