Fortnite.

[edit]

I have looked over the article, but nowhere I have seen has mentioned Eminem ( Marshal Bruce Mathers III ) being in Fortnite. I believe we should add this. I may have just missed it, And if so, I apologise for the waste of time. Josh.D.Mullins (talk) 10:41, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If he's appeared in enough other notable pop culture, then we could add a section for appearances in pop culture, otherwise it's a bit pointless. Data Devourer (talk) 01:33, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
its not a problem I agree with you we'll done ✅ ELDORICO SERGIO (talk) 01:18, 24 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"One of the greatest rappers"

[edit]

In light of the disruptive edits being made to this page regarding the longstanding text that Eminem "is regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time," I'd like to present the following references that back this up. Rolling Stone has listed him as the 83rd greatest musician (not just rapper) of all time [1]. Billboard placed him at number three on their list of all time greatest rappers [2] (this was done in partnership with Vibe, a separate magazine). Complex named him the greatest rapper alive in the year 2002 [3]. He was the tenth rapper inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame [4] (see also their page on him [5]). The claim that he is regarded as one of the greatest -- not the greatest -- should not be controversial. ~~ Jessintime (talk) 16:48, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

“ The claim that he is regarded as one of the greatest -- not the greatest -- should not be controversial.” is an opinion. All of the above source you stated only Billboard says he is the third greatest rapper. Read mos:WEASEL to see why your edit was reverted Phạm Huy Thông (talk) 16:53, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

it might sound stupid but in my opinion Eminem is the best rapper to ever touch the mic 2601:244:C100:700:722A:2A67:B0F3:27ED (talk) 02:38, 26 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Musical genre(s)

[edit]

I think that putting a genre as general as "Hip hop" in the "Music genres" section is not at all practical. In my opinion, it should put genres like Horrorcore, Hardcore hip hop, Comedy hip hop, Rap rock, Gangsta Rap, Conscious hip hop, Alternative hip-hop and/or Trap music. Very long

[edit]

This article is too long to read and navigate comfortably. When the tag was added, its readable prose size was 15,571 words. Consider splitting content into sub-article or condensing it. The article size impacts usability in multiple ways: Reader issues, such as attention span, readability, organization, information saturation, etc. (when articles are large). Total article size should be kept reasonably low, particularly for readers using slow internet connections or mobile devices or who have slow computer loading. Some large articles exist for topics that require depth and detail, but typically articles of such size are split into two or more smaller articles.

How do you suggest we divide it? dxneo (talk) 17:24, 4 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Add a link to ed sheran's page on his name. AgapeVessel (talk) 19:34, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@AgapeVessel: Sheeran's name seems to be linked on its first appearance in the subsection "2017–2019: Revival and Kamikaze". There are then three more appearances of his name in that subsection and the following one. These are not linked, in accordance with Wikipedia's Manual of Style at MOS:REPEATLINK - Link a term at most once per major section,at first occurrence.. This is to avoid articles becoming overloaded with links, which harms readability.
It is linked again when it appears significantly further down the article in the "Legacy" section.
I believe linking is already in line with Wikipedia policy. TSP (talk) 20:01, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: Per TSP's rationale rationale. PianoDan (talk) 22:10, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
