Picking this one up. There will be a brief interval until the bot goes through. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 20:49, 21 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Hawkeye7: Issues should be resolved. Most of the issues with Caine's early biography has to do with a birth certificate I was able to find, though an administrator later removed it. The nomination was sent to the Senate on March 10, but Hegseth only reported it on March 12; this discrepancy is stated in the source. elijahpepe@wikipedia (he/him) 22:18, 21 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

The article was rejected in February as unstable, but I think things have calmed down a bit. This is still activity, but I believe that it is stable in the sense that it is no longer changing from day to day.

  • His date of birth is in the lead and the infobox, but is not sourced in the article. Unless you can find a source and add it to the Early life and education (1968–1990) section, it will need to be removed.
  • Similarly, that first section must start with his full name; the lead is but a summary of the article, and the two must stand separately. And we need a reference, but that should not be too hard to find.
  • Any idea who is parents are and what they did? Any siblings? (Not required)
  • "with a degree in economics" -> "with a Bachelor of Arts degree" in economics" Why leave the readers guessing when we know the answers?
  • "with a master's degree" -> "with a Master of Arts degree"
  • "pilots who protected Washington, D.C. in the aftermath" Comma after "D.C." (this is a parenthetical comma)
  • "Iraqi general Najim Abdullah al-Jubouri" -> "Iraqi Major General Najim Abdullah al-Jubouri"
  • "He is the co-founder of RISE Air" Consider telling the reader that is a a regional airline and not a bottled gas company.
  • Spot checks: 6a, 15, 18a, 21 - okay
  • fn 23: Text says that Caine's nomination was sent to the Senate on 10 March, but the source says 12 March
