Coordinate error

I've just removed the coordinates from the article, since I believe we usually give stadium coordinates (which were incorrect in this case, anyway) in articles about the stadiums themselves rather than articles about the clubs having them as home grounds. Merge proposal

There is a clear consensus to merge. I'll leave implementation to those familiar with the articles. (non-admin closure) Compassionate727 (T·C) 13:22, 24 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I propose merging Corpus Christi Professional Soccer into Corpus Christi FC. On July 12, 2025, the USL League One side was formally revealed to be a direct continuation of the USL League Two side. Thus, in line with other similar articles on teams that have moved between divisions (One Knoxville SC, Sarasota Paradise, Fort Wayne FC, etc) I believe the two Corpus Christi articles should just be easily housed all within Corpus Christi FC. Support. Clearly uncontroversial move that is, per cases listed above, the precedent for teams making this move. Tom Danson (talk) 05:20, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Support — This probably should've been a WP:BOLD merge. Even if the club had instead chosen to rebrand, it would've de facto still been the same club, with the same owners and a clear lineage.[1][2][3][4] And even if their USL2 team continued, there's no case to WP:SPLIT such a small article. The club's two teams could've easily been covered in the same article à la Lexington SC, Lexington SC (women), Monterey Bay FC, and Indy Eleven. Seems like an open-and-shut case. I've listed this discussion at both WP:PMGO and WP:FOOTYDEL.
