Change “Connor McDavid was born and raised in Richmond Hill” to “Connor McDavid was born in Richmond Hill” as he was not raised in Richmond Hill but rather Newmarket, Ontario and this is misleading 99.250.110.217 (talk) 18:00, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
Partly done: The 'Early life' section covers this and works better there than in the first para of the lead, so I removed that mention altogether. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 23:36, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
Consistency of ordering for medals in International Play section
[edit]The ordering for medals in the International Play section is in reverse chronological order (newest first), whereas other similar pages such as Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner have it in chronological order (newest last). Also, the 4 Nations Face-Off did not really have medals per se, so I think MedalW is more appropriate than MedalGold. MoonlitSpectre (talk) 04:04, 9 March 2025 (UTC)
Permanent semi-protection edit request

Can someone correct the year Connor McDavid left the York Simcoe Express to join the Toronto Marlboros? It is 2009 not 2011
The Early Life section says 2011, but the cited article states that he played on the Marlboros for 3 years prior to 2012. It also mentions him leaving the York Simcoe Express AAA team after they just won the OHF championship, which happened in 2009
The initial summary section and Early Life section both say 2011, it needs to be corrected in both places. Thanks for any help!

- Do you have any other sources? When I look at https://www.eliteprospects.com/team/8178/toronto-marlboros-u16-aaa/stats/all-time it says he only played for one year, 2011. meamemg (talk) 18:57, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
Not done: When I reviewed this a few days ago, I found the timeline confusing. Since it hasn't been sorted out, I'm closing the request. It can be reopened when everything is made clear. — 🪫Volatile 📲T | ⌨️C 04:34, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
