Formerly called Charles Koch Foundation?

[edit]

The sidebar lists this organization as formerly the "Charles Koch Foundation" and "Cato Foundation," but the article states, "The institute was founded in January 1977 in San Francisco, California; named at the suggestion of cofounder Murray Rothbard after Cato's Letters …"

If these were indeed earlier names, then an explanation should be given under "History" with a citation. A.T.S. in Texas (talk) 23:01, 6 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism of Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill

[edit]

[1] ” It’s going to be unrecognizable in American history, the level of immigration enforcement [and] street harassment that you will see by Border Patrol, [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] and all the law enforcement they have helping them out,” David J. Bier, director of immigration studies at the libertarian Cato Institute, told NBC News Friday. [2] Doug Weller talk 19:28, 30 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
