Israeli "Hebrew" transliteration?

[edit]

I find the Israeli "Hebrew" transliterations on this page inappropriate and offensive. Given the Holy Rebbe was a fierce supporter of our Holy Torah, he certainly never spoke "Hebrew" in his life and his Holy Books did not have "Hebrew" titles, they had titles in Lashon Hakodesh (the Holy Tongue).

Somebody should change this page and if they don't I will, the next time I see this page. 84.229.25.119 (talk) 16:27, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

I read on Wikipedia's English-language website: "He regarded the Holocaust as a punishment for abandoning simple faith and ancient traditions, specifically onanism,[6] blaming secularism and Zionism."

I read on p. 479 (vol. 17) of the Encyclopaedia Judaica: "He regarded the recent sufferings of the Jews, and especially the Holocaust, as a punishment for abandoning simple faith and the traditions of the ancients, and constantly called for repentance." There are no references to "onanism" [sic!!!], secularism, and/or Zionism. Shams lnm (talk) 13:43, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
