Presenting list of candidates
There's now our usual presentation of candidates, but that uses {{col-start}} and can be hard to edit. I've made an alternate way of presenting these candidates with just at most 2 tables, one for major and another for minor coalitions. Check it out at 1987 Philippine Senate election. (Of course, we'd need four more columns for the automated era, for ballot number, party color, and name.) Howard the Duck (talk) 03:41, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
Supposed LP-KANP "coalition"
This exists only in social media in certain quarters. The Liberal Party Facebook page doesn't have Bam Aquino's face on it, KANP's Facebook page doesn't have Pangilinan's face on it, and there's no announcement yet that the two candidates are running as a "ticket". There may be one later on, but unless that happens, or someone puts up WP:RS proving this otherwise, I'd remove it in a week. Howard the Duck (talk) 01:11, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
- ALB67 has admitted there's no formal alliance, so s/he's making stuff up, which is prohibited here in Wikipedia as per WP:OR and WP:BLP. any further changes about this should be reverted by everyone.
- Also as for the supposed PDP coalition, this is also uncited. We can logically assume that those who are carrying PDP are part of the slate, but for the 2 candidates who aren't, we need references on that. Howard the Duck (talk) 12:17, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
- PDP on its Facebook (which is still at PDP-Laban LOL) has a post about a photoshoot with all 7 candidates under their slate, including Marcoleta, and acknowledges Quiboloy who can't join them. So this is official, only that we don't have third party coverage of this photoshoot, or acknowledging the 8-man slate. Howard the Duck (talk) 05:43, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
