Mikah Thomas (born February 21, 2005) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a Defender for Major League Soccer club Charlotte FC. He was selected by Charlotte FC with the 9th overall pick of the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.

Career

UConn

Thomas played for UConn from 2023 until 2024.[1] As a freshman in 2023, Thomas appeared in 8 games with 3 starts, recording 0 goals and 2 assists during the season. In 2023, he helped the Huskies to a 9-8-1 record and a second round exit in the Big East championship. As a sophomore in 2024, Thomas appeared in 11 games with 5 starts, recording 1 goal and 1 assist. In 2024, the Huskies finished with a 8-4-6 record and a first round exit in the Big East championship.

Jacksonville United FC

Thomas made his professional debut at the 2023 U.S. Open Cup, playing one game and recording one goal for Jacksonville United FC in the team's 1-1 win in penalties (9-8) over Miami United FC.[2]

Charlotte FC

Thomas was selected with the No. 9 overall selection by Charlotte FC in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.[3]
