Tony Harvey (Freemason)

[edit]

Hello {{Ping|WikiDan61}} Thank you for your comments on the above page. The subject is internationally known and has made major contributions to two global membership organisations. I have edited the text to emphasise this. The references come from across the UK (eg, South Wales, East lancs, Warks, London, West Kent), not just one region, and from overseas (eg, Washington Lodge is in the USA). The dominance of UK references is because UK Freemasonry makes substantial use of social media and websites to share news while many other jurisdictions make less or no use. As to limited communities, Scouting worldwide has 55 million members and Freemasonry worldwide has 6 million. I hope these points help demonstrate the notability of the subject. BTW, a better article name would be "Tony Harvey (Scout & Freemason)" if that can be changed if and when the article meets the standard. Thank you again. @London1964: I have passed on your request for a further review of this draft to the participants of WP:WikiProject Freemasonry. I do not feel that I have the proper experience with the subject area to assess this person's notability. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:09, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@WikiDan61 Thank you. I appreciate that. London1964 (talk) 21:01, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@WikiDan61 The WP:WikiProject Freemasonry doesn’t appear to be very active! Is there anything that can be done to nudge a member to respond? London1964 (talk) 09:23, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@WikiDan61 Thank you for forwarding the response re capitalisation in article names.

Assessing this draft

[edit]

{{WikiProject Freemasonry|class=???|importance=???}} Can somebody kindly assess the article? London1964 (talk) 09:26, 28 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I note the draft was assessed again yesterday (30 June 2025) by User:Pedantical. I have done some editing/tidying up (including removing embedded external links, removing the repetition of citations in the References section), but I think the article needs further work, including additional inline citations from reliable, independent secondary sources. Thank you @Paul W for this. I will do some further work. London1964 (talk) 10:10, 1 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
