Request for review of neutrality and improvement edits

[edit]

Hi everyone,

I'm the original creator of this article and would appreciate any feedback on the current version. I've revised the content to address earlier concerns about promotional tone and notability by:

- Rewriting sections in a neutral, encyclopedic tone - Adding citations from reliable, independent sources (e.g., Wall Street Journal, PLOS ONE, The New York Times) - Removing subjective or marketing-style language

If anyone has time to review the article and suggest improvements — or remove the

and

tags if appropriate — I’d be grateful.

You're also more than welcome to directly edit the article or add content if you have stronger sources or ideas for improving it.

Thanks in advance!

Finis (mostly lowercase)

[edit]

The company that likes to call itself FINIS pronounces this much less like "eff eye enn eye ess" than like "finish". (There's evidence at the end of this item of advertising.) I've therefore inferred that the ALL-CAPITALIZATION is no more than an attempt to have its name STAND OUT, and have moved the article from "FINIS, Inc" to "Finis, Inc".

Even "Finis, Inc" an odd title for an article. It would probably be better as "Finis (company)". -- Hoary (talk) 07:35, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
