Conflict of interest

[edit]

Despite being specifically made aware of Wikipedia's policy on conflict of interest (WP:COI) and paid editing, Bookworm5155 has refused to follow the mandatory disclosure procedure. --Yamla (talk) 12:10, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I was never specifically made aware of this policy. This is the first time I've ever tried to publish a Wikipedia article. Bookworm5155 (talk) 15:47, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Bookworm5155 Hey! Just saw you wrote this draft article and wanted to let you know that I have my own version of an article for Evan Glass in my sandbox, and was planning to publish it if Glass won the Democratic primary for county executive. He's not notable enough for a page at this time based on the precedent set by the deletion discussions for Marc Elrich's pages (first discussion, second discussion) that Montgomery County Executives are notable. Please let me know if you manage to get this page published into mainspace, though, so that I can clean it up and merge my sandbox page into yours. Cheers! Hi! That's awesome; thanks for doing so much good work on Maryland officials. That precedent makes sense, though it's frustrating to keep having this declined when two of the other Councilmembers (Katz and Jawando) have pages about them -- it would be so much easier if it were consistent across the board. If you have any notable sources that aren't in this one, let me know! Bookworm5155 (talk) 18:12, 20 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
