Phoenicians or Hebrews from the Levant reached Mexico

[edit]

The article mentions "Among these theories is that a voyage of Phoenicians or Hebrews from the Levant reached Mexico in approximately 100 BC, a view supported by Cyrus Gordon, Barry Fell, and Ivan van Sertima." It is worded in such a way that infers that it was also a theory of Alexander von Wuthenau. If that is true, a source should be provided that shows he believed that. Including theories that were not specific to him can be misleading and should be avoided. Seecknowledge (talk) 16:37, 1 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It’s sourced and User talk:SpaghettiClams I believe is the person who sourced it. Doug Weller talk 17:38, 1 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reference 22 does not mention Alexander von Wuthenau or his entry into the U.S.

Reference may be the incorrect reference, since it does not even have the name of Von Wuthenau. - 22. "Von Wuthenau Allowed Entry to United States". The Sante Fe New Mexican. October 4, 1935. Retrieved April 4, 2025. Seecknowledge (talk) 23:00, 5 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
