UnchainedTV

[edit]

UnchainedTV is a nonprofit streaming network that distributes video content related to plant‑based living, animal rights, environmental issues, and social justice. It operates via its own over‑the‑top (OTT) platform and distributes through free ad‑supported streaming television (FAST) channels.[1] [2]

Founded in the mid‑2010s by journalist Jane Velez‑Mitchell, UnchainedTV is registered in the U.S. as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is funded through donations.[3]

Programming includes original series, independent documentaries, and live streams of activism events such as animal rescues and protests.[4][5]

UnchainedTV found itself in tabloid news when Caitlyn Jenner accused their show “At Home with The Jenners” of using her image from a family home video without her knowledge. The show was later edited to remove the scene.[6]
