Tobidase! Machine Hiryū (Japanese: とびだせ！マシーン飛竜, translated as: Jump Out! Machine Flying Dragon) is a TV anime that was broadcast from October 5, 1977, to March 29, 1978 on Tokyo 12 Channel (Now TV Tokyo). Co produced by Toei and Tatsunoko Production.
Creation
[edit]Created during Japan's "supercar boom", which lasted from 1975 to 1978.[1][2] Up until episode 8, it was a typical racing anime, but from episode 9 onwards the plot changes to one in which Ricky and the others become embroiled in people at the race venue and a conspiracy group separate from the Zenizeni team.
