Geography
[edit]The settlement was located on Washington Land, near Cape Webster, and on Gonioceras Bay.
History
[edit]The settlement was inhabited around 1917 and 1920 by two Inuit families for some years. It was abandoned around 1922.[1]
On 4 August 1999, two archeologists (Claus Andreasen and Hans Lange) investigated the site. There were two large tents where the Inuit families lived, the families later moved south and abandoned the place. The site contains few material remains of human activity.[1]
