Mohammad Jahangir Khan widely known as Dada Shah Jahangir Khan, was an Indian Sufi saint and a revered spiritual figure in the region of Kamsar, located in present-day Uttar Pradesh, India. He was the eldest son of Raja Narhar Khan[1], a local ruler who converted to Islam during the reign of Sher Shah Suri.
Early life
[edit]Mohammad Jahangir Khan was born in the 1540s in the Kamsar region of present-day Uttar Pradesh, India. Jahangir Khan was the eldest of the five sons born following this event. He was raised in a household influenced by emerging Islamic beliefs and Sufi traditions, which shaped his spiritual outlook from an early age.
