Submission declined on 18 June 2025 by HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Submission declined on 17 June 2025 by Pythoncoder (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by Pythoncoder 49 days ago. | ![]() |

Max Bennett Kelly (born January 11, 1996) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and producer. He is known for his blend of alternative pop, indie rock, and internet-influenced humor. Kelly first gained attention on platforms such as TikTok and YouTube.
Career
[edit]Kelly first rose to prominence through TikTok, his 2021 song "Happy, Healthy, Well-Adjusted" gained attention for its lyrics addressing themes such as mental health and societal pressure.[1]
In 2023, Kelly released the EP Junk Male, which was accompanied by a short film of the same name. Directed by actress Ella Purnell, the film presents a fictional narrative centered around a boxer named Hollywood Thompson. The project functions both as a narrative film and a visual extension of the EP, incorporating songs from the release throughout its storyline.[2]
Kelly’s music received wider exposure in 2024 when three of his songs "Happy, Healthy, Well-Adjusted," "The Outsiders," and "Superinlove" were featured in season 3 of the Netflix series Heartstopper.[3]
That same year, he was profiled in Elle magazine, which described his rise in the music scene and his creative work alongside Purnell.[4]
In 2025, Kelly released his second EP, True Modern Romance, which was accompanied by a short-form web series of the same name. The series explores romantic and interpersonal themes through a scripted narrative.
