Maulana Hafiz Muhammad Yousaf is an Islamic scholar from Chaman, Pakistan. He is the son of Al-Haj Allama Abdul Ghani (Rahmatullah Alaih).

Early life and education

He received his early education from his father and completed memorization of the Quran. He later graduated from Darul Uloom Haqqania, Akora Khattak, in 1997.

Teaching career

From 1997 to 2001, Yousaf served as a teacher at Al-Markazul Uloom Al-Islamia. Since 2001, he has been teaching advanced Hadith and Fiqh books, including Sahih al-Bukhari, Jami’ al-Tirmidhi, and Mishkat al-Masabih at Jamia Islamia Allama Abdul Ghani Town in Chaman. After the death of his father in 2011, he became the head of the institution.

Political involvement

Yousaf has been involved with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan. He joined the party's Central Shura in 2014. In 2024, he became a member of the Majlis-e-Fiqh and was later appointed as Patron-in-Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Balochistan.
