Maulana Hafiz Muhammad Yousaf is an Islamic scholar from Chaman, Pakistan. He is the son of Al-Haj Allama Abdul Ghani (Rahmatullah Alaih).
Early life and education
[edit]He received his early education from his father and completed memorization of the Quran. He later graduated from Darul Uloom Haqqania, Akora Khattak, in 1997.
Teaching career
[edit]From 1997 to 2001, Yousaf served as a teacher at Al-Markazul Uloom Al-Islamia. Since 2001, he has been teaching advanced Hadith and Fiqh books, including Sahih al-Bukhari, Jami’ al-Tirmidhi, and Mishkat al-Masabih at Jamia Islamia Allama Abdul Ghani Town in Chaman. After the death of his father in 2011, he became the head of the institution.
Political involvement
[edit]Yousaf has been involved with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan. He joined the party's Central Shura in 2014. In 2024, he became a member of the Majlis-e-Fiqh and was later appointed as Patron-in-Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Balochistan.
