Manifest is a girl group from Turkey formed through the survival show Big5 Türkiye. They are managed by Hypers New Media. The group consists of six members: Esin, Hilal, Lidya, Mina, Sueda and Zeynep.[1] They have been described as Turkey's first "T-Pop" group, in reference to K-Pop which they draw influence from.[2]
History
[edit]Manifest was formed through the survival show Big5 Türkiye which aired on Youtube. Originally intended to be made up of five members, the judges of the show made the decision to include a sixth member in the group in the grand finale. Referred to as "Big5" throughout the show, the group's name was revealed as "Manifest" on February 5, 2025 through Spotify Turkey's Instagram account.[3] Their debut single "Zamansızdık" was released two days later on February 7, 2025.[4] The single received a million streams within five days of its release. Their live debut took place on February 16, 2025 at Jolly Joker Arena in İstanbul.[5] They were joined on stage by Gülçin Ergül of legendary Turkish girl group Hepsi, who was a member of the Big5 Türkiye judge and a mentor to the group.[6] On March 13, 2025, it was announced that the group would be on the cover of the March issue of Cosmopolitan Turkey.[7] Their sophomore single "Arıyo" was released on April 11, 2025 and it peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Turkey chart.[8] On April 18, 2025, the group announced they would be headlining Manifestival, a two day festival which shares its name with their upcoming debut album scheduled for release on June 13, 2025.[9] This was followed by the release of "Bi' Hayal İşte", a promotional short film, and two singles: "KTS"[10], which debuted at number 8 on the Billboard Turkey chart[11], and "Snap".[12]
