'Lavrenti (Zurab) Gudavadze' (date of birth: July 3, 1961) — Georgian mining construction engineer. Georgian Technical University professor (2021).

Education

He graduated from the Mining Faculty of the Polytechnic Institute of Georgia in 1979-1984; Candidate of Technical Sciences since 2005.

From 2023, a full member of the Georgian Academy of Mining Sciences.

Member of the European Academy of Natural Sciences (Germany), Honorary Doctor of the Scientific Research Institute of Water Problems and Hydrotechnics named after Academician I. V. Egiazarov (Armenia); Visiting Professor of the Institute of Transport and Communications of Lithuania.

He is currently working on the supply of natural gas from the Caspian region to the countries of South-Eastern Europe, through Georgia and the Black Sea, and related issues of construction of underground gas storages and safe continuous gas supply.
