Jacob Bellotti (born December 11, 1997) is an American television producer, podcast host, and creative developer. He is best known for producing *RuPaul’s Drag Race* on MTV (2021–2024), creating the reality series *Owning Manhattan* for Netflix, and co‑hosting the celebrity interview podcast Let’s Talk About That! with actor Larry Saperstein.
Early life and education
[edit]Bellotti was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended Syracuse University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Radio, and Film and a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History. He is fluent in French. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles, where he currently resides.
Career
[edit]Bellotti began as a development and creative producer at World of Wonder Productions. From 2021 to 2024, he worked on *RuPaul’s Drag Race*, contributing to format evolution and storytelling.[1]
In 2022, he created *Bring Back My Girls* for WOW Presents Plus. In 2024, he created *Slaycation*, a travel and lifestyle series for CraveTV Canada. He also created *Owning Manhattan*, a real-estate docu-soap for Netflix in 2025, and produced the reboot of *American Gladiators* for MGM Television and Prime Video the same year.[2]
Podcasting
[edit]In 2023, Bellotti co-launched Let’s Talk About That! With Larry Saperstein and Jacob Bellotti, a popular queer pop culture podcast. Guests have included Sally Struthers, Jason Earles, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Kylie Cantrall, Nikki Haskell, and Keith Habersberger.
A viral 2025 interview with Sally Struthers—where she shared candid recollections about celebrities including Bea Arthur and Betty White—was widely covered in entertainment media:
- *Entertainment Weekly* reported Struthers' claim that Arthur “trashed everyone [they] ever knew.”[3]
