Isher Singh Namdhari one of the most popular tarshehnai esraj and dilruba player all over the world. Isher Singh Namdhari who is preserving the heritage of Punjab’s traditional music & continues expanding this traditional skill Tar Shehnai/Esraj/Dilruba. Isher Singh Born 07-08-1991. In Samana Bahu District Karnal, Hariyana. With the kind grace and blessings of His Holiness Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji Maharaj & Sri Satguru Uday Singh Ji, Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji took him at Sri Bhaini Sahib and started the music journey when he was the just 09 years old. First of all he started getting the art of vocal, Dilruba & Gurubani Kirtan from ustad Bibi Narinder Kaur. In 2007 with satguru g's prestigeous will started Dilruba & Taar-Shehnai vadan from Shri Kirpal Singh Panesar after some years he started training instrumental style from sitar player Ustad Virender Kumar - disciple of Sangeet Samrat Ustad Vilayat Khan Sahib. later in 2016 Ustad Gurdev Singh Sarod Player (Senior disciple of Sangeet Samrat Ustad Amzad Ali Khan Sahib) taught him a new style in tar shehnai by adding the bol of sarod. Since 2019, you getting intense and fine training to play singing style on the Tar Shehnai from the world renowned Padam Shri & Padam Vibhushan violinist Dr. N. Rajam (Gwalior Gharana).

Isher singh is a first generation in family who is doing Music. His father late Sardar Inder Singh was very knowledgeable person about Sikh history and Gurbani and also head Super visor at Gurdwara Sri Bhaini Sahib. His mother Smt. Charanjit Kaur very good teacher to Gurbani and Sewa Simran. Tar Shehnai vadan is the very Uniqe & rare saaz instrument of non percussion in Punjab. He is on finger tips from tarshehnai players. Isher Singh is doing his best to propagate and promote Taar shehnai esraj and dilruba with his continuous Riaz. He is B-High graded all India Radio Artist and Founder, Managing Director of “Uttam Raag Music Academy. He also taught Indian Classical Music Vocal & traditional Gurbani sangeet (Dhruad,Dhamar). Instruments like Tarshehnai/Esraj/Dilruba etc.
