Google TV Streamer is the successor to the Google Chromecast[10], a line of streaming devices. Google launched the TV Streamer on September 24, 2024, after announcing it on August 6, 2024.[11] Its launch price is $99.99.[11] There are 2 colors on the Google store, Porcelain, and Hazel.[11] The streaming device runs on Android TV OS, the same as the Google Chromecast with Google TV 4K.[12]

[edit]You can cast your screen onto your Google TV Streamer using the Google Cast protocol.[13] The Play Store is pre-installed, and you can download apps and games.[14] The Streamer can connect to your Google Home ecosystem.[10] The Streamer also comes with Google Assistant.[10]
