Comment: You have written that he has been quoted in media; that does not establish notability. If you have sources that discuss his importance, such as why he is recognized as an expert on China, which may lead to media quoting him, that's what is being looked for. 331dot (talk) 10:31, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
