Submission declined on 21 July 2025 by Dan arndt (talk). This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by Dan arndt 15 days ago. | ![]() |
Comment: Fails WP:NBAND, requires significant coverage in multiple independent reliable secondary sources. The group's website and band member's websites are all primary sources. Dan arndt (talk) 07:48, 21 July 2025 (UTC)

ARTEMIS is an all female contemporary jazz band, varying from a septet (original recording) to a sextet (2nd release) to a quintet (3rd release). It stems from a group that played at International Women's Day in Paris in 2017,[1] led by Renee Rosnes. The band gelled as ARTEMIS, touring beginning in 2018, including Rosnes (piano), Ingrid Jensen (trumpet), Allison Miller (drums) and Noriko Ueda (bass), all of whom have been with the group throughout its various personnel changes.[2] They released their eponymous first album on Blue Note in 2020.
They have subsequently released In Real Time and most recently Arboresque, all on Blue Note Records. They continue an active international touring schedule.
They have been selected as Downbeat Readers Poll Jazz Group of the Year in 2024,[3] and 2025.[4]
For their most recent release "Arboresque" and current tour, they are joined by Nicole Glover on saxophone. Nicole has collaborated with many leading figures in jazz[5] and currently has a faculty position at the Manhattan School of Music.[6]
