Al Akmar Saify (born 14 November 2003) is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, and casting director.[1] He began his career in casting before moving into directing short films, music videos, and feature films.[2][3] He is the founder of Saify Casting Company and has contributed to both independent and commercial cinema.[1]

Early life and education
[edit]Saify was born on 14 November 2003 in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, India.[1] He developed an interest in filmmaking at an early age and began working on independent projects during his teenage years.[1] He completed his schooling at New Orchid English Medium School in Mumbai.[1]
Career
[edit]Saify began his career in the film industry as a casting director, working on projects such as B.A. Pass 3 (2021) and M A PASS Sarkari Naukri (2022).[2] He later contributed additional casting for the feature films Crew (2024)[4] and Thank You for Coming (2023).[5]
Expanding beyond casting, Saify worked as Assistant Director and Second Unit Director on the independent film The Butterflies (2022).[2] He made his directorial debut with the socially driven short film Lesson in Honor (2024),[3] followed by serving as Associate Director for the music video Ab Kise Barbaad Karoge (2022), featuring Asim Riaz and Sandeepa Dhar.[3]
In 2025, he was announced as a cast member and creative contributor for an upcoming Hindi-language feature film under the FilmyBox banner. Scheduled for release in 2026, the film features him as a police constable and credits him for contributions to the film’s creative direction.[6]
