Aadu 3 (transl. Goat 3) is an upcoming Indian Malayalam language epic fantasy film written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas.[1] The film is jointly produced by Vijay Babu and Venu Kunnappilly under their banners of Friday Film House and Kavya Film Company respectively.[2] [3] It is the third and final installment of Aadu franchise.[4][5] It stars an ensemble cast including Jayasurya, Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan, Vineeth Mohan, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Bhagath Manuel, Indrans, Baiju, Bijukuttan, Sudhi Koppa and Harikrishnan reprising their roles.[6] The film launched with pooja ceremony on 10 May 2025.[7] The shooting of the film is commenced to start on 15 May 2025 and currently the team is planning to release the film in Christmas 2025.[8] [9]

Production
[edit]The film is the third instalment of Aadu film series produced by Vijay Babu under the banner of Friday Film House and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas.[10] The film was officially announced in March 2024.[11] In January 2025, director Midhun Manuel Thomas confirmed that the film is undergoing a genre shift to epic fantasy film.[12] The film was launched on 10 May 2025 with a pooja ceremony.[13] In June 2025, Venu Kunnappilly of Kavya Film Company joined the project as co-producer.[14]
Release
[edit]The film is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide in December 2025 coinciding with Christmas.[15]
