A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery is a feature documentary film directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Sandrine Orabona and shot by featuring cinematography by Brandon Haynes. The film is produced by[1] LeBron James, Maverick Carter's UNINTERRUPTED, P&G Studios, Storyform, and Anke Thommen. It chronicles the career and activism of Renee Montgomery, a former WNBA player who became the first former player to co-own and serve as an executive of a WNBA team, Atlanta Dream. The documentary explores her evolution from athlete to activist, her decision to sit out the 2020 WNBA season[2] to focus on social justice, and her eventual transition into team ownership and business leadership.
Release and Distribution
