44 (commonly pronounced as "four-four") is an American hip hop collective formed in 2025, originating from the Bronx, New York. The group is led by rapper 44 Frost, who began uploading music independently to SoundCloud during the COVID-19 pandemic.

44 gained widespread attention in early 2025 following the release of their breakout track "Out the Mud", which quickly went viral across platforms like TikTok and YouTube due to its gritty lyrics and raw delivery. The song helped establish the group’s presence in the New York drill scene and marked the beginning of their rise in underground hip hop.
