"Crashing" is a song by American singer-songwriters D4vd and Kali Uchis. It was released on February 28, 2025, through Interscope Records, as the third single from Burke's studio album Withered.
Background and composition
[edit]The music video for "Crashing" was directed by Kenneth Cappello, and released on alongside the song.[1] The song features Kali Uchis,[2][3][4] whom got on the song following an Instagram live.[5] D4vd released a teaser for Crashing.[2] The song is classified as a ballad.[6][7]
Critical reception
[edit]Writing for BroadwayWorld, Josh Sharpe pointed out that the song offers a sense of "self-assertive relaxation" before a catastrophe.[8]
