2026 Toronto municipal election

The 2026 Toronto municipal election will be held on October 26, 2026, to elect the mayor and 25 city councillors in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In addition, school trustees were elected to the Toronto District School Board, Toronto Catholic District School Board, Conseil scolaire Viamonde and Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir. The election will be held in conjunction with those held in other municipalities in the province of Ontario.[1]

- Gary Crawford, councillor for Ward 20 Scarborough Southwest since 2010, resigned to run for the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario in the 2023 Scarborough—Guildwood provincial by-election.[10]
- Jennifer McKelvie, councillor for Ward 25 Scarborough—Rouge Park since 2018, resigned to run for the Liberal Party of Canada in the 2025 Canadian federal election.[11]
- Jaye Robinson, councillor for Ward 15 Don Valley West since 2010, died in 2024.
