The 80th anniversary of the victory in the War against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War will be observed with a series of ceremonial events including a military parade that will place on 1 September 2025 in Beijing.

Preparations

The official logo for the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the War against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was officially unveiled by the State Council Information Office on 13 May 2025. The State Council Information Office held a press conference at 10 a.m. on June 24, 2025 to introduce the specific arrangements for the conference. Senior PLA officer Wu Zeke stated in June 2025 that the parade will feature "new-type combat capabilities" as well as a speech by Central Military Commission Chairman Xi Jinping.
