The 80th anniversary of the victory in the War against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War will be observed with a series of ceremonial events including a military parade that will place on 1 September 2025 in Beijing.
Preparations
[edit]The official logo for the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the War against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was officially unveiled by the State Council Information Office on 13 May 2025.[1] The State Council Information Office held a press conference at 10 a.m. on June 24, 2025 to introduce the specific arrangements for the conference.[2] Senior PLA officer Wu Zeke stated in June 2025 that the parade will feature "new-type combat capabilities" as well as a speech by Central Military Commission Chairman Xi Jinping.[3][4]
