The 2025–26 Minnesota Timberwolves season will be the 37th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). It was also the first season of the Timberwolves being owned by Marc Lore and former Major League Baseball star player Alex Rodriguez following ownership conflicts relating to previous team owner Glen Taylor, with a unanimous ownership change being approved by the NBA on June 24, 2025.[1]

The Timberwolves entered this draft period (which lasted for two days, similar to the previous year's draft) with one first-round selection and one early second-round selection that the Timberwolves acquired in a three-team trade with the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers.[2][3]
