Zoo Baby is a British children's film. The movie was shot in late 1957 but appears not to have been released until 1960.[2][3]

Premise

[edit]

An African game hunter sends his young son to school in London, but the boy is lonesome until he discovers the zoo.

Cast

  • Angela Baddeley
  • Maurice Kaufman

Reception

[edit]

Kinematograph Weekly wrote "The picture is a trifle class conscious, but not too preparatory school. Gerard Lohan acts naturally as Pip, Angela Baddeley is an understanding Mrs. Ramsay, and Dorothy Bromiley and Maurice Kaufmann make the most of the love interest as Sarah and Steve The modest highlights are staged in Chessington Zoo and a circus, and the camera work is up to scratch."[4]
