Ziaul Hoque Polash (born 3 February 1993)[2] is a Bangladeshi actor and director.[3] He became popular among the audience, especially among the youth, by playing the role of Kabila in the drama Bachelor Point.[4] He also became well known as "Parvez" in the drama Family Crisis. In this drama, he mainly gained popularity for his fluent poetry without rhyme.[5][6][7]

Early life and education

Polash was born in Kalikapur village of Sonaimuri Upazila of Noakhali district.[8][9] But he grew up in Nakhalpara, Dhaka. He took the SSC exam in 2009 from Government Laboratory School, but his results were not good. So he took the exam again in 2010. He passed the HSC in 2013. Then he got admitted to Government Titumir College and completed his honors in Finance and Banking from there.[10]

Career

Polash has been acting since 2014. He has acted and is still acting in several popular dramas of the present day.[11][12] He played the role of Kabila in the popular serial drama "Bachelor Point".[13][14] He also acted in many other dramas including 'Ex-Boyfriend',[15] 'Ex-Girlfriend', 'Bachelor Eid', 'Bachelor Trip', 'Me and You', 'Incomplete', 'Muthophone' and others.[16][17]

He has worked as an assistant director with several popular directors. He has also produced a few plays himself. He has produced plays called "Friend with Benefits" and "Surprise" under his direction.[18][19] He trained under Mostofa Sarwar Farooki for about two years.[20][21]
