Xefer Rahman (born 12 March 1999) is a Bangladeshi singer and actress.[1][2][3]
Career
[edit]Rahman was never trained professionally as a musician, but instead realised her talents after recording a random song on a cellphone when she was 17. She started to focus on making/covering music after getting a great deal of positive feedback and support from her family and close friends. Rahman is known for her unique style, which blends different genres, and she has become a notable figure in Bangladeshi music. Her music often reflects her personality and vision, and she continues to grow as an artist by experimenting with new sounds. Despite her global outreach, she remains connected to her roots and has contributed to the Bangla music scene by singing in Bangla as well as English.[4][5] Rahman released her first album Uncaged in 2017.[6] Her single Jhumka was released in 2023.
