MN house control
[edit]There's a discussion currently happening over on Political party strength in Minnesota, I would appreciate if more editors contributed. Thank you. TheSavageNorwegian 16:57, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
List formats
[edit]I'm not an active member of the project (due to outside commitments I can't regularly be active as a contributor) but I've noticed that some project-affiliated lists such as List of representatives and senators of the Arizona Legislature by district, 2003–2013 and 116th Maine Senate seem either fairly bare-bones or a bit unwieldy for the average Wikipedia user. Is there an expected format or template for these pages, or would it be possible to clean them up and improve them? PunkAndromeda (talk) 11:34, 1 March 2025 (UTC)
- @PunkAndromeda: As far as I can tell, there is no current standard for list articles for this WikiProject. One of the problems I can think of immediately with trying to implement a standard is the fact that states aren't very homogeneous when it comes to information provided about various things across time. Some states have big databases of every state legislator in their history, along with their home city and party. Some, its hard to find information about anything before like 2008. For some states, a detailed table of info is more than doable. For others, an incomplete list with citations on every entry is the best possible for the forseable future.
- Its definitely possible to improve the list articles you listed, however, I know nothing about Maine or Arizona, so I probably can't do it. It may be possible to implement some sort of standard for the various different types of lists under the scope of this WikiProject, but it'd definitely be a bit hard. Missouri State Senators
[edit]I am trying to go one by one through MOLeg. As it relates to current State Senator, Mike Henderson (politician), I cannot get his current position of Senator to go above his prior ProTem speaking position. Any help with this to get it in the right order? ProfPatMcKelvey (talk) 19:00, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
- For infobox officeholder, it goes by the numbers on the parameters; so if you have office1, it goes above office2. If the parameter has no number, (predecessor = ) then it goes on the top. Thank you for working on Missouri! I fixed Henderson for you. Masohpotato (talk) Masohpotato (talk) 20:39, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Masohpotato, I think the Prof wanted Henderson's most recent office of State Senator above Speaker, which I switched in the edit previous to yours? Jevansen (talk) 20:57, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
- oops, thank you. I misread that message. Masohpotato (talk) 21:09, 15 March 2025 (UTC)

Could somebody please assess this stub? I'm looking for it to be raised to a Start or C-Class article. If not, please make specific recommendations for raising its classification. FWIW, I'm not affiliated with her at all, but I think she's friends of friends of mine. Finally, please ping me, because I'm following a zillion other pages. Thank you very much in advance. While you're at it, after assessing Nily Rozic, could you also please assess this one too? Again, I have no connections with him other than friends of friends. Thanks in advance. Bearian (talk) 02:40, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
