Adjutant General of New Hampshire
[edit]I'd like to create an article for the role of state adjutant general of New Hampshire. Looking at this role in other states, there is variance in how existing Wikipedia articles are titled:
|
The state's website also uses inconsistent wording, such as "The Adjutant General, New Hampshire" here and "Adjutant General of the State of New Hampshire" here.
I propose titling the article Adjutant General of New Hampshire, which follows the format used by a majority of existing pages (above) and is consistent with Attorney General of New Hampshire and Governor of New Hampshire. Comments from other editors welcome. Dmoore5556 (talk) 04:45, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
Agree. I was reading your description above and felt that "Adjutant General of New Hampshire" was the best fit, so was happy to get to the last paragraph and see that that was what your proposal was. --Ken Gallager (talk) 13:52, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
Update. This fell off my plate for quite a while, but article Adjutant General of New Hampshire has now been created. Input from other editors is welcome. Dmoore5556 (talk) 01:28, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

Could someone please add reliable sources to them, or possibly merge them? Bearian (talk) 03:08, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
Manchester Freedom
[edit]Perhaps someone from this WikiProject could help sort something out about the Manchester Freedom. The article cites a source stating that the team disbanded in 2011, but the Independent Women's Football League's official website shows them playing in 2012 the New Hampshire Freedom and still lists the team on its official website as such for most of 2013. It looks like the team played in 2012 and was scheduled to play in 2013, but for whatever reason couldn't. The team's name doesn't appear on an archived version I could find for the IWFL's website from August 19, 2013, but it's still there on an archived version from August 11, 2013. Anyway, I can't read the source cited for team disbanding in 2011 because it requires registration/subscription; perhaps someone else can and see what it says. It's possible that the cited source is mistaken because it seems to be about a particular player and not really the team itself. -- Marchjuly (talk) 23:03, 21 June 2025 (UTC)
