^ In the case of photos of people (especially adults), a useful caption would tell the reader the date (or approximate date, if the exact date is not known) of the photo, since people's appearance changes over time. In this particular case, it would also be useful to say that the image is a painting, since it is so good, it looks like a photograph. Additionally, per MOS:CREDITS, since the artist who created this particular painting is independently notable with a Wikipedia article, it would be appropriate to link in the caption to the artist's biographical article.
