In this course we are covering the basics of Plant Biology. Students will be introduced to the different anatomic structures of plants. We are going to use Wikipedia where students will go out to SUNY Old Westbury campus identify the plants on campus geotag them and they will be bringing them to the lab where they will be making cross sections of roots and shoots and they will be describing the leaves and flowers as well of those plants to enrich the wikipedia pages of those plants or even create new pages
